Panel Requests 2018
Jun. 10th, 2018 10:19 amPanel requests for 2018 are now open! Click here!
We're accepting submissions up through Saturday September 6, 2018 @ 11:59pm CDT.
Never run a panel before? No problem! The stakes are low and the Podfication crowd is super chill. If you've got a topic you want to talk about with people for an hour, you can run a panel! Interested in running a demo, game, or event instead? No problem! Submit your idea through the same form and tell us all about it.

Any questions, just let us know!

Never run a panel before? No problem! The stakes are low and the Podfication crowd is super chill. If you've got a topic you want to talk about with people for an hour, you can run a panel! Interested in running a demo, game, or event instead? No problem! Submit your idea through the same form and tell us all about it.
A few things to be aware of:
- You can submit more than one idea!
- If we run out of space and you've submitted more than one idea, we may have to choose between them. So if there's one topic you favor over others let us know!
- Have an idea but don't want to run it alone? Drop a comment on this thread asking for co-panelists! Or let us know and we can put the call out on social media for you.
- Would you like to help run a panel but don't have a good topic of your own? Check the comments!
Some more relevant info:
- We'll have a screen, projector, and speakers for the panel room, but you'll have to provide your own laptop or other device to connect up to it. The projector has a VGA input. If your device exports through HDMI, we've got an adapter for that you can borrow. If all you need is audio, as long as your device has a standard audio jack you're good.
Any questions, just let us know!

Date: 2018-06-10 11:22 pm (UTC)People could bring a podfic (actual files, a fic, weird experimental thing they wanna do but can't figure out) that they are either stuck on, afraid of, still puzzling out and we can work on it. I was thinking more like a working time where people could share ideas and work on stuff.
Need help organizing a really long podfic you wanna do but can't even figure out where to start? Want advice on how to organize/produce a massive multivoice? Need to workshop an experimental thing that you have the idea for but can't figure out? Need help with this one effect/mouth noise that you can't get right? Need someone to cheer you on while you send that permission request that you have always dreamed of?
The focus here would be on individual works (as opposed to new challenges or communities) and hopefully we can have people actually working on stuff for the hour.
