Podfication Postponed Until Fall 2022
Hello folks, by now it may be clear, but this is the official announcement: Podfication will not be happening in 2021. The convention will be postponed until Fall 2022, at which point we hope to return to both an in person event and an every other year cadence.
There are a few reasons behind this: First and foremost, we want to make sure that when we get together again it is entirely safe to do so. As much as we'd like the pandemic to be fully under control by October 2021, that simply isn't a guarantee. Secondly, although ample consideration was given to holding a virtual con this year, setting up and running that type of event would involve a lot of time and energy your humble con chair does not have this year. And thirdly, there are several other wonderful virtual events with a podfic focus happening this October already. (Hello to botheuropodfriends and fanworks in particular! Check them both out.)
So with all that in mind, we're taking a break this year. We hope that you stick with us for future event news and information!
